During this tour, you will discover the Capital Port Louis, Blue Penny Musuem, Sir Seewoosagur Botanical Garden, Red Roof Cap Malheureux Church and finally free time at Trou aux Biches beach for a swim or relaxation time.
Sir Seewoosagur Botanical Garden which is one of the most famous attraction of the island. It bears the name of the Mauritian prime minister and governor, Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam, who got the independence of the island in 1968. In this place of 37 hectares, you will soak up in a mysterious universe whose the different species of plants, trees and flowers are surprising. The botanical Garden also includes the white and pink lotus, water lily and the famous baobabs.
Port Louis, the busy capital of Mauritius Island. It’s the commercial and economic hub of the country and you will find, especially in the beautiful Waterfront, modern and luxurious buildings. A lot of facilities like Mauritian, Indian and European restaurants, as well as shops of prestigious brands will be offered to you. You will also discover the Citadelle, which is a heritage of the cultural past of Mauritius. British built this enormous monument of black stone in 1835 to protect of military invasion. Besides, it’s also a breathtaking point of view on Port Louis city and surroundings.
Cap Malheureux is your penultimate stopover, famous for its little red roofed church located next to the see. Enjoy the beautiful ambiance and have a break for some nice pictures.
Finally end the day with a free time at the Trou aux Biches beach. One can have a swim or relax on the white sandy beach facing the turquoise ocean.
