Meet our professional glassblowers at the Glass Gallery!
Founded in 1991 by one of the largest beverage companies on the island, the Mauritius Glass Gallery’s mission is to protect the environment and recycle glass waste. All creations are made of recycled glass and by hand. Today, the Mauritius Glass Gallery is the creator of incredible glass sculptures that have found their place in homes, hotels, and luxury houses. Between the workshop and the gallery, you will enter the Glass Museum, where you will be exposed to many works of art in tempered glass; colorful, sophisticated or simple.

You will be overwhelmed by the astonishing story of glass blowing. Skilled craftsmen give new life to used bottles by using old glass blowing techniques. Observe how local craftsmen use fire to carve glass, play with lights, shades and shapes, using old methods and tools. To keep the memory of this unique experience, you can bring back, at very affordable prices, glasses of unique shapes and colors, all being 100% recycled. This place is a small Venice in Mauritius.
